Jesus Christ

  • Christ. His love demonstrated through Empowerment.
  • God has called us as a mission to raise leaders. (Papa’s vision and his commission) FIRE IN HIS BONES. [Pg 69]The FORM is created by the Mold. If we are raising leaders, then the form they take will be determined by the Mold.
  • The Mold is Christ. Christ is the model leader. He is the pattern son (Rom. 8: 29). He is who we are and who we are becoming. The call to every believer is to conform to Christ in all things. The work of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Christ not just to us, BUT IN US. [Gal. 1: 15-16, 2 Corinth. 3: 17-18, 2 Corinth 4:6]
  • The Glass or Mirror by which the Holy Spirit conforms us to Christ is the Word – Our message.
  • We must constantly put the Christ picture before the people, because as they keep looking at Him, they will become more and more like Him. [Gal. 3], Jacob’s principle [Gen. 30:25].
  • We must preach Christ. Acts 8:46, 1 Corin. 2:1-2, Col. 1:27-29, Eph. 3:8.
  • TRP, CGMi was founded on the revelation of Christ. [Matt. 16:6, 13-19, Mark 9. The Transfiguration – Reading the bible with Christ in view].
  • As we seek to build leaders after the order of Christ, we must teach Christ revealed in the believer, we must make them see who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them. It is the understanding of this revelation that made Archbishop Benson Idahosa who they thought He was. Even Jesus had to find out who He was [Luke 4:18].
